I went to the movie theater the other night and took a picture of one of their walls. The facility was nicely finished, and well kept. One of the things that help them with upkeep is the large investment they made originally to cover the walls with tile. Tile covered walls are pretty indestructible compared to just painted walls. Also keeping tile on a wall clean is easy compared to tile on the floor, which occasionally needs some aggressive cleaning.
